Hunt Story

I usually work on Saturdays, but I decided to take the Saturday after Thanksgiving off. My brother and I got in our stands about a half hour before sunrise. It was a really quiet morning, didn't see anything but a few squirrels doing their thing. Around 9:15 a.m. I heard something running my way down the logging road. The doe came though the food plot heading to the creek bottom than the buck was coming next. The buck stopped right on the edge of the plot looking my way, he took two steps in the woods and I pulled the trigger. I saw him buckle and run off in the creek bottom. I thought he was a good buck, but after I tracked him and found him than I was amazed how big he really was.
