Hunt Story
I decided to go hunting for about an hour before I went to church. I was sitting in between two heads of woods, separated by a creek running through it. The deer love to bed on both sides of this power line. I saw a little buck chasing a few does in the field at the top end of the power line. I caught a glimpse of movement as I was looking out into the field. By the time I saw him over my right shoulder he was 35 yards, crossing the power line. He closed the distance to about 23 yards. I was waiting on him to turn broadside, but he never did. As soon as he quartered to me a little, I decided to take the shot.
