Hunt Story
Took the week off to hunt the rut, and the timing was great. I saw a lot of bucks walking Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. This buck came out of the creek bottom. I watched him make two scrapes and run his antlers through the trees. Looking at his body, I decided he was a shooter. Took the shot and made a clean kill. The deer weighed 240 pounds live weight. I am very blessed to be able to hunt a great animal like North American whitetail.
