Hunt Story
I have several videos and pictures of this buck. I knew he was only 2 1/2 years old on film, but as always, they look sooooo much bigger in real life. He came to within 10 yards of me last Saturday, but after I had removed my arrow and was preparing to get down. Then yesterday he popped out 20 yards from me looking like a 200 lb buck with 150 inches of rack. I was actually texting a friend about gator hunting this weekend. I quickly put my phone away and shot him with my reading glasses still on. I spined him and he dropped in his tracks, but was very much still alive. Once he spun around and gave me a clear shot, I removed my glasses and put another arrow in his heart. He is by far the biggest 2 1/2 year old I have ever shot. Not near big enough to win a week, but definitely big enough to allow me to shave 🙂
