Hunt Story
I got in my stand about 10 minutes prior to daylight. I choose this particular stand this morning because I knew this deer was spending a lot of time in this general area. About 45 minutes after daylight, the buck stepped into my shooting lane. I had minimal time to make the shot because the deer was on my right side and I am right handed. By the time I got up and ready to shoot, I only had a second to take the shot. The shot was clean and the deer ran about 40 yards. When I retrieved the deer I realized it was the deer we call "Skyscrapper". "Skyscrapper" is the largest buck I have on camera this year.
