Hunt Story

I got in my stand at 7:05 am on Friday, October 21. The temperature was approximately 68 degrees and very humid. At 7:20 am I heard a stick break in the distance. At 7:25 am I saw a deer walking in my direction from where I had heard the stick break. I noticed good tines, and when he approached corn I had scattered at about 45 yards, I took the safety off my CVA muzzleloader and shot him in the front shoulder. He immediately kicked as the smoke filled the air and piled up 20 yards away within my sight. I climbed down and approached him. He was a large bodied 10-point. It was a great hunt.
