Hunt Story
Never hunted or walked this part of Chattahoochee National Forest before. Friday evening, I scouted and found multiple trails and acorn trees that were dropping. I actually ended up jumping a deer while scouting, which Is where I ended up hanging my stand. I picked a nice top that was covered in acorn trees and had multiple rubs on it. Saturday morning, I was running a little late. Got set up around daylight. At 7:45, I saw two bucks feeding my direction. I waited patiently until the biggest one got close enough. I self-film my hunts, so I got my camera on him and shot him at 22 yards. Dropped him in his tracks. My first bow-buck ever.
