Hunt Story
Me and my dad were hunting Saturday morning in my favorite stand. We call it the 'White Oak #2' stand. A 4-point walked out and I was just about to shoot it, but then it popped its head up and that's when I saw the big 8-point. I was so excited when I saw it, I shot the deer and hit it with a double lung shot. We waited about 12 minutes before we got down, we couldn't wait very long because it was really hot and we didn't want the deer to spoil. I went to where I shot the deer, and I found my bolt and it was covered in blood, and that's when I knew I made a good shot. I tracked the blood for about 25 yards and there was my deer. I was so excited! This was the biggest deer that I've ever killed!
