Savannah River

The Savannah River is a major river that forms most of the border between the states of South Carolina and Georgia. The lower Savannah is big and wide with numerous backwater oxbows that offer good fishing for bass, bream, crappie and catfish. The Intracoastal Waterway flows through a section of the Savannah River near the city of Savannah.
