Lake Oconee Fishing Reports

Duane Case and his son, Thomas, had a good day in the March 9 Flint River Bass Club tournament on Oconee. Thomas had a 6.82-pounder for big fish, and his three fish went 9.20 pounds and placed him third out of nine anglers. Thomas had five at 11.33 for first and that included a 5.17-pounder. The river was muddy, but they found clearer water at the mouths of some small creeks and caught at least 20 bass on blue/chrome crankbaits and shaky heads with junebug finesse worms with chartreuse tails.
