Arthur Engineering

Arthur Engineering provides full service engineering and design for industrial, manufacturing and commercial projects.  We offer mechanical, process, electrical and structural engineering service as well as laser scanning and 3D modeling capabilities.  Below is a list of some of our services:

  • 3D Laser Scanning and 3D modeling.
  • Commercial / MEP drawings.
  • Extensive experience with PSM (process safety management) plants.  Flammable liquids and dusts, Area classification studies, code reviews and HAZOPs.
  • P&ID and Process flow diagram development or validation.
  • PSV (safety relief valve) calculations.
  • Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA).
  • Tank design.
  • Pipe stress analysis for hot piping.
  • Industrial hygiene calculations to design ducts, hoods and fume extraction for industrial processes.
  • Equipment specifications and sizing.
  • Pressure loss calculations for ductwork and piping.
  • Foundation and steel structural design.
  • Electrical power engineering including service entrance design, transformer specs, switchgear, MCCs and electrical room layouts.  Including medium voltage.
  • Arc Flash studies and breaker coordination.  We can print labels also.
  • Grounding plans.
  • Pneumatic convey and material handling.  (We’ve designed several plastic extrusion plants).
  • Compressed air systems.
  • Dust collection systems.
  • Regenerative thermal oxidizers.
  • Extruders, injection molding machines and polyiso foam plants.  The polyiso plants all included pentane as a blowing agent.
  • Flammable refrigerant conversion engineering for plants that are switching from freons to flammable refrigerants such as propane and butane.
  • Machine design.  We’ve also designed several large transition chutes for wood chip plants using the laser scanner so they can make an exact replacement and install over the weekend.
  • Mezzanines, pipe bridges, equipment foundations and shelters.

Tank terminal work, piping, tank specifications or design, foundations and instrumentation.
