Hunt Story
The first deer that came in was a 9-point, looked to be 2 1/2 years old. I decided I was not going to shoot him. He kept looking over his shoulder and coming and going from the planted pines and into the opening. I watched him for several minutes and he hopped off. Then suddenly a much bigger buck came out about a 100 yards away and the 9-point came charging back in. Both bucks back hair was bristled up, ears lowered and squaring up for a fight. I dropped the 10-point in his tracks after watching him for about 15 seconds. Neither buck ever knew I was there. Great hunt I will never forget.
