Hunt Story
I had five different shooter bucks on my game cam in the last week between 5 p.m. and 7. We have numerous does and small bucks that I feed up near our house during those hours. Monday night there were two good bucks mixed in with the does, so I decided to hunt after I fed the does on Tuesday. I fed the does around 5:45 and made my way to my blind. This buck walked out on a path behind the feeding area at about 6. After about 5 or 6 minutes he was in good shooting position and I sent it. When the smoke cleared, I could see him lying with his back leg twitching slightly. It was a perfect neck shot at 54 yards with my CVA WOLF .50 cal.
