Hunt Story
I had a lot of pics of this buck last season, all through the season, my wife and I found a shed from him on Valentine's Day this year. He never showed up this season on any cameras, so it was a bit of a surprise. I had 7 or 8 does in the food plot with me, 4 of them right below my stand. The buck came into the field from the north and checked does up there, grunted and chased a few around, but nothing serious. He started my way and came in to check the does that were near me, he walked through a shooting lane at about 23 or 24 yards. I shot him broadside and it double lunged him. He ran maybe 55-60 yards and I heard him crash. Arrow was a complete pass through, my son and I waited an hour and went in and found him in about 5 minutes.
