Hunt Story
Will shot a doe in 2020 for his first deer at 6 years old. Determined this year to shoot a mature buck, he passed more bucks than his father at 7 years old waiting for an aged bruiser. It was a cool morning. We had rattled several bucks into range already. They were responding well by coming in. Late in the morning within 5 minutes of rattling, he charged in looking for a fight. Once we were set up and ready, we were able to slow him down to a momentary stop with a dominant buck grunt. A moment was all Will needed to make a lifelong memory. Emotion poured out of his young body as he'd accomplished something he'd worked so hard for. Even better, it all happened with his mom and dad in the stand with him.
