Hunt Story
On the evening of Dec 9th I took my climber to the edge of a peanut field that was still getting a lot of use by the deer. Several does and smaller bucks had made their way into the field, and at 5:55 I noticed "Harley" standing on the edge of the field checking everything out. At 5:58 he offered me a quartering to shot at roughly 275 yards. The shot was true and he fell over right on the edge of the wood line. The buck had an estimated weight north of 200 pounds, and after reviewing the jaw bone, is believed to be 6.5 plus.
