Hunt Story
Luke and and his Dad were hunting primarily for a couple of does for the freezer. Luke had shot one doe about 7:45 a.m. While waiting to retrieve the doe, a few more small bucks showed up. After they eased off, several does came into view being pushed by this buck. There had only been a few pictures of this buck, none of which were in the area we were hunting, but we knew which deer it was as soon as we saw him. Luke made about a 90-yard shot. The deer went about 50 yards and we were barely able to see him go down. We still gave it a little time before going to retrieve the buck. He was laying right where we thought he would be.
