Hunt Story
I sat in a new two-man ladder stand me and my dad has put up the day before on November 8th. I went the next morning, sat there in the dark and at 6:50 the buck came out 15 yards from me headed to check a scrape next to my stand about 10 yards from my stand. The buck saw me pick my rifle up and ran in front of my stand through my longleaf pine stand, and I was able to get one good shot at him with my Bergara 6.5 Hmr Rifle it dropped him in his tracks. Deer weighed 230 pound on the scale and scored 147 5/8 for a main-frame 8-pointer with two kickers, which made him have 5 points on each side
