Hunt Story
Been after this buck since the opener. Had a lot of pictures of him all summer, and three days before the season he changed up his daily pattern. On Sept 23rd me and a friend went hunting right after work and a friend he was indeed! He let the buck feed in front of him for 20 minutes and never took a shot because he knew I wanted this deer. The buck made his way right at me to charge a smaller 8-pointer that was standing right under me. He gave me a good shot at 26 yards, I got a quartering shot through the heart and opposing shoulder. He only ran 40 yards before he expired.
