Black ducks are pretty rare in Georgia. Madison Mullis said this one killed in Wilkinson County on Jan. 7 was her first, and probably her last, black duck.
Oconee County produced this 8-point buck for Adam Hewell, of Watkinsville. The buck was chasing on Nov. 12.
Charles Norton, of Loganville, with a great Walton County buck killed Oct. 29, 2016. The 12-pointer scored better as a non-typical, netting 153 2/8. According to GON County Rankings, it’s the No. 5 non-typical ever recorded from Walton.
This Macon County 10-pointer had a 21 7/8-inch inside spread and netted 141 5/8. Leland Overholt, of Marshallville, shot the buck on Nov. 18.
