Outdoor Summer Camp Comes To Wrightsville
Brad Gill | April 12, 2018
If you’re looking for an outdoor-related camp for you and your child, Woods-N-Water outfitters is hosting a Raise ’Em Outdoors Georgia Summer Camp June 1-3 in Johnson County.
“Throughout my childhood, my parents introduced my brother and I to the outdoors through numerous family fishing, hunting and camping trips,” said Blaine Burley with Woods-N-Water (WNW).
WNW have been a long-time sponsor of the GON Youth Big-Buck Contest, donating a deer and hog hunt to our Shoot-Out winner.
“These trips greatly influenced both of our lives and has helped us to become lifelong sportsmen, wildlife managers and conservationists,” said Blaine. “I am truly blessed to have the resources to help introduce these young kids to the great outdoors and to allow them to spend some quality time in the outdoors with their parents.”
The summer camp is for children ages 5 to 17. The camper and their parents will camp over night on the WNW grounds. The kids will spend two days learning archery, fishing, rifle shooting and wildlife conservation. Parents will attend each event with their child, learning and making memories along the way.
Cost is nominal at only $25 per child and $15 per parent/guardian.
If you know a child who would like to attend, or if you would like to volunteer for the event, please go to www.raiseemoutdoors.com/georgia-camp.
