Lake Blue Ridge Fishing Report November 2013

GON Staff | October 30, 2013

Blue Ridge: Level: 9.2 feet below full pool. Temperature: 61-63 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Guide Eric Welch reports, “We’re still catching fish on a drop shot using 4.5 Roboworms and Zoom Trick Worms on shaky heads. But it’s the time of year when we start catching fish on Strike King Sexy Dogs, Pop-Rs, flukes, jerkbaits and swimbaits. At daybreak, start targeting spawning flats and rocky banks where it shallows up but has easy access to deep water, like Morganton Point, the flats going into Green Creek, Blue Ridge Marina and any points that have some wind blowing in on them. Make sure you keep a topwater tied on for the blow-up fish.”
