Hunt Story
We had several-trail camera pictures of this deer. We nick named him Cesar because a very prevalent Roman nose. All the trail camera pictures of this buck were at night. I went into an area that had several scrapes and rubs Saturday afternoon after seeing several chases I heard a loud crack and one heck of a buck fight back in the thicket, deer were running out of and into the thicket. I never saw the deer that were fighting but could tell they weren’t a couple yearlings. Sunday morning I went back to the same stand and the action picked up right away several small bucks were running does, when I had another doe run out of the thicket with him in behind. Before I could shoot she ran back in the thicket and he followed. I thought he’s gone, but he stopped before going in and walked to a scrape that I had freshened up before getting in the stand. I was able to make a good shot and he went down. God has blessed me so much!
