Hunt Story
Preston has wanted this deer for 3 years. Has had a couple missed opportunities and tons of trail camera photos that led up to this point. Something told me to hunt in the stand with him that afternoon and we sat and didn’t see anything else that hunt. Just before dark I told him to hit the doe bleet a couple times, and within a couple minutes he barely stepped out of the planted pines looking for the doe. Preston had his gun on him and said he had a shot, and I heard the safety clock off, and he dropped him right there in the food plot. Not sure who was more excited me or him.
