Hunt Story
We had seen the deer on trail camera from other hunters. This year me and my dad decided to stay out of this area till the rut was on, we did not want to push the deer out of the area before he decided to show himself in daylight. On Monday November 4, I rushed home from school and my dad was waiting on me. We got to the woods around 4:30. I immediately saw a spike and doe. Around 5:15 the deer chased a group of does through and I couldn't get a shot. About 10 minutes later he came back and I was able to get a shot, the deer ran about 75 yards before going down. Staying out of the area and not pressuring the deer appeared to work it was my second hunt in that stand.
