Hunt Story
I started seeing deer around 4:30 on after being in the box stand for only 10 minutes. I witnessed several does and five young bucks throughout the afternoon. I saw a 6-point chasing does and rub a small pine and watched two 4-points sparing. The larger buck appeared to my right as I watched a 6-point too coming toward the stand on my left. Once the younger buck walked into the woodline, I was able to turn and take the larger buck. I got down from the stand and with the help of a couple of friends was able to locate the deer about 25 yards into the woodline.
