Richmond Hill WMA Shooting Range Open After Renovation
GON Staff | June 23, 2019
The Richmond Hill WMA shooting and archery range in Bryan County re-opened to the public on June 18 after a major renovation project that took about nine months.
The 100-yard rifle range firing line now has an increased number of shooting stations, 14, and the firing line is now covered. Other improvement include a 10-station, 50-yard pistol range with a new firing line cover, the addition of an indoor/outdoor classroom, increased ADA accessibility throughout the range, and ceiling fans and hot/cold lights along with a PA system under each firing line cover.
The archery range has four static archery range target stations, an archery tower to shoot from with six 3D targets, and the addition of a 3D archery trail with 15 targets.
