Hunt Story
Got to stand on Thanksgiving afternoon around 5:00. Immediately started seeing does feeding in food plot. Around 5:30, two does came out around 200 yards away and started feeding. About five minutes later, this buck came out of planted pines to the does. He tried to breed the first doe and she just trotted off a couple of steps. He then moved on to the second doe, which made him give me a broadsided shot. He fell dead in the food plot. The does did not want to leave him. I walked to within 40 yards of him before they finally ran off. I had this buck on camera from mid-October, but this was the first time I had saw him while hunting.
