Hunt Story
Sunday morning my daughter was able to harvest a very nice mature buck, and she let her Daddy tag along with her. After talking wind and stand strategy in the morning, she decided we would hunt a ground blind that played well with an east wind. We watched small bucks and does most of the morning and missed a quick opportunity on the same buck about an hour earlier. We kept at it and were blessed that the buck showed back up and presented a shot at about 90 to 100 yards. She made a perfect shot, and we made quick work of the blood trail. Then after some hugs and kisses; hooping and hollering, she thanked the good Lord for sharing his beautiful creatures with us. It was her first buck and a beautiful morning to be in the woods.
