Hunt Story
We were on our first hunt of the year together. We were hunting a cutover with a small food plot. Around 5:45 the buck cam out of a thicket and walked over into the food plot about 50 yards away. As I helped Westin get into position, the buck got a little nervous and started to walk away. I told Westin to be prepared to shoot, that I would try to get the buck to stop. I made several grunts, and the buck stopped and turned sideways giving Westin a shot. He took it and immediately said I got him. The buck fell in his tracks. That was his first buck.
