Hunt Story
This is 12-year-old Audrey's first kill. She's a six-generation hunter on private family land. Audrey and her dad hunted from a box stand Saturday after her soccer game. She was on the opposite side to shoot, so she climbed in her dad's lap to make the shot. It was a gut shot, so the deer didn't die instantly. The hunters tracked him for over 4 hours. After bringing him in, the real hunt began---the hunt for a processor open after 11:30 PM opening weekend of rifle season. Audrey's kill joins little brother Tuck's 7-pointer from the year before. Chad is one happy daddy!
