Hunt Story

I went to the woods and climbed up in the stand about 7 a.m. I heard two bucks fighting in the brush to the right. After fighting, he stepped out from the right and was going to walk across the food plot. I shot him and he plowed up the ground and ran into some overgrown thick briars in the clearcut. I waited a few minutes and went over to find him, and he was about 10 yards into the edge. I have had this buck on camera for two years. We have watched him all summer come from velvet and out. We called him "Claw" because of his left side, at the end is a split and looks like a claw. I regretted shooting him, because I really enjoyed all the pictures we get of him and his crew. My plan was to wait another year, but he came out and I took him. It was a good day!
