Clarks Hill Fishing Report – October 2018

GON Staff | September 26, 2018

Clarks Hill: Level: 3.5 feet low. Temp: 83 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Linesides: Capt. Eddie Mason reports, “It’s been hot, but the fish have still been biting good. We’re just making sure to get down about 30 or 40 feet where the water is cooler. The oxygen lines are still running, so that’s helped. We’ve stayed on the lower end of the lake between Modoc and the dam. It’s good on the main channel points and humps. Downlines and blueback herring are still doing the trick. As the water cools off, we’re still fishing about the same depth. But we’re going to start moving more above the oxygen lines toward Parksville and Dordan Creek. The lake starts turning over in October, and we’ll move a little more to accommodate that. We’ll still catch the fish, but we’ll just have to work a little harder for the bite.”
