Nottely: Level: 1.3 feet above full pool. Temp: Low 70s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: The early morning topwater bite should be going on at Nottely right now as the spotted bass feed up after the spawn and get ready to move into a summer pattern. Look for fish busting on top on main-lake points, and throw a Sammy or Spook at them. Once the topwater bite dies off, try throwing a Texas-rigged worm, either a finesse worm or a u-tail, around the main-lake points. Green pumpkin is always a good color on Nottely.
