Hunt Story

I decided to hunt throughout the middle of the day because of the mid-day timing of the major feeding period. At approximately noon, the buck came busting out of the woods with his white flag up, and raced out toward the center of a 40-acre field. I yelled at the buck twice in an attempt to get him to stop. The buck heard my voice and stopped turning broadside at about 100 yards. I shot him behind the shoulder, and he ran out of the field and collapsed.
