Hunt Story
Since it was clear and cold, I thought it might be a good morning to see some bucks moving, so I decided to sit in a stand of thinned planted pines in an area where I could see a long way in several directions. I had passed on a good 8-point earlier in the morning, and had been hearing some grunting and deer running. Finally, at about 9:00 this buck stepped out by himself at about 100 yards and I was able to take him with my .243.
