Hunt Story

Me and my dad got in our stands late because the temperature was cold and in the past I noticed that deer usually move after the sun comes through the canopy. I climbed in the stand at 8:30 and settled in. I hit my estrus can and grunt at 8:35 and saw antlers coming through the hardwood bottom. The buck stopped for a minute, looking for where the can and grunt had come from and I hit the grunt again. He then walked to 50 yards and I dropped him. I couldn’t believe what just happened. I thank the good lord for the experience and the time I got to spend in the wood with my dad. It was a last day of season I’ll never forget!
