Hunt Story
Was in my climber about 1 hour before daylight. Heard a soft grunt about 7:30 a.m., then shortly after that saw a doe walking down a big hardwood draw, and right behind her was this buck. He was not pushing or chasing her, he was just locked down with her and she was accepting that. Shot him about 80 yards and thought I missed. After sitting in my stand another two hours I thought I would get down and go look for some sign of maybe hitting him. Before I got to the spot where I had marked him last I saw big antlers and the buck dead. My hands went straight up to thanking the LORD!
