First time hunting a new stand with my dad. The buck walked out into a narrow food plot. I had to make a quick shot on him once we decided he was big enough. The shot was farther back than I wanted. He went down but got back up and ran off. After waiting 4 hours we started tracking with a dog. The buck made it 400 to 500 yards before we found him.
