Hunt Story
I was sitting on the ground up against a tree at the bottom of a big ridge in some hardwoods. I heard something to my right coming down the ridge, and it was a good buck. He was by himself and walking at a slow pace. He got to about 150 yards and turned right and started walking away from me. He stopped and I had about a 3-foot opening to shoot. I propped my gun up on a small tree in front of me. I shot him right in the shoulder and he ran about 100 yards and died.
