Hunt Story
Two hours into my afternoon hunt I found myself gazing upon two squirrels playing in a tree. Distracted by the task at hand which was my hunt. As a scoped my surroundings after watching the squirrels, I laid my eyes on what at first glance I thought was a doe. As I set my gun in the position to take a shot, I then realized it was a buck. Having to then settle my nerves, as this was my first time seeing a buck while sitting alone in my stand, I focused on one area as to where I wanted to shoot. Then I took my shot, seeing the explosion from the gun, I saw my buck drop to the ground. Know I had successfully hit my target, I was filled with so much joy as this was the biggest buck I’ve ever been able to harvest.
