Hunt Story
My dad and I were set up in a double ladder stand that we moved two weeks prior to this hunt. It was the first time the stand had been hunted during a morning hunt. The buck came out at 9:15 walking just inside the edge of the thick brush. Then the buck turned and started walking broadside at 20 yards. After several attempts to get on the deer, I was able to settle on his shoulder and fired. The buck dropped in his tracks.
