Huntley and I were in a two man ladder stand over looking planted wheat. We saw two doe right at daylight. Then a small spike came to plot and worked a small scrape. After the spike left I would grunt and rattle about every 30 minutes. After the last rattle sequence the 6-pointer showed up at 150 yards. He walked to a small scrape and then crossed the plot at 122 yards. Huntley shot and I could tell it was a hit. We waited on my father and then began to track the deer. We tracked the deer and jumped him one time and then waited about 30 minutes. The next time we seen him Huntley placed another shot into him and the deer died.
