Hunt Story
My dad and I arrived at the farm around 6:30 a.m. We walked part of the way in together until we split to go to our stands. As I arrived at my stand I heard a deer run off. After I got in the stand and settled in, approximately 20 minutes had gone by, I heard a deer blow to my left. Shortly after shooting light I saw a doe and a yearling pass by to my left but didn't stop. About 30 minutes later my youngest daughter had text me on her way to school and told to have a great day. Shortly after she text me back, I looked up to see the brute crossing the food plot about 60 yards in front of me. I had just enough time to grab my gun and pull the trigger before he was gone. When I shot he fell in his tracks and I almost jumped clear out of the tower stand. No ground shrinkage for this buck.
