Hunt Story

We climbed in the stand around 5:30 Sunday afternoon. We were overlooking a food plot that we knew some good bucks were using. As soon as we sat down, we had a doe step into the food plot. We saw deer on and off all evening. About 6:45 p.m. Libbi spotted the buck on the edge of the food plot checking for does. After he saw that nothing was there for him, he started easing down a trail that goes behind our stand. Two does had gone down the same trail just a few minutes before. Libbi was able to stand up and get turned around in the stand to make the shot at about 60 yards. He only ran about 75 yards and piled up.
