Hunt Story
Nine-year-old Karsen went hunting with her dad Saturday morning. Shortly after daylight we had a doe come from our left and feed on acorns for a short while. Soon after she left, we had a smaller buck come by through some thick stuff and didn't present a shot. A few minutes later we heard deer footsteps coming at us through the dry leaves. A nice buck with 8 points came to within 50 yards and presented a great broadside shot, which Karsen took advantage of. The buck dropped right there, and the high fives began. She and I were both shaking and very excited. We gave glory to God and called to tell her mother.
