Hunt Story
I arrived at my deer stand at approximately 6:40 a.m. It started getting light at around 7:30 a.m. I sat and watched around me with nothing in sight. At approximately 7:50 a.m. I looked down, and very close to my stand was this 8-point that we had caught on our trail cam about a week earlier. I took aim and fired. The deer ran a few feet away, and I thought I missed, so I took another shot and he fell to the ground. I sat in the stand for a few minutes before climbing down from my stand and harvesting the deer.
