Hunt Story
I decided to go hunting Christmas afternoon even though the weather was warm. We had several pictures of a big deer all season, but they have all been nighttime photos since August. We knew he was in the area still and that this food plot might be a good place for him to show up in the later part of the season. There was only one doe in the food plot feeding when he came out just before dark. I looked through my binoculars and knew right away that he was a shooter. I took the shot and watched him stumble as he was running away through the broom sage and briars back toward the woods. I was shaking so bad that I couldn't hardly text my dad. He came over and we recovered the deer about 75 yards away.
