Hunt Story
It was a very fast and a spur-of-the-moment hunt. We have been working all day, and an afternoon hunt was not expected. I decided to go and take my Tinks #69 with me. I was in the stand less than 10 minutes when the deer showed up. He came running toward the scent I put out and began searching for the doe in heat. I was lucky the wind was in my favor. He ran 10 yards to left, and I put the round in his front shoulder. It was an immediate recovery. He weighed 185 pounds and had 12 points. A brow tine and a sticker on his right side were broke off while fighting, so I'll take it as a nice 10.
