Hunt Story

I have been hunting this deer for the past two years. I had several trail camera pictures of him. I found a couple of big rubs in a pine thicket close to the area that I felt he was bedding. I hunted the area Black Friday evening and didn't see anything, but it just felt like a good place. Went back in Saturday morning and didn't see anything until 10:45. I heard running and seen movement coming down the hill towards me. It was two doe and a small 3 pointer. They stopped right in front of me for a few seconds before trotting on down towards a hardwood bottom out of site. About 30 seconds later I spotted movement in front of me and saw a flash of a huge main beam with tines. I got ready and he stopped quartering towards me at 20 yards. I shot him and he ran past my tree and stopped behind me where I watched nervously as he slowly fell and died.
